I woke up early (oh, not early for normal people =D ) at exactly noon.
I told hubby that we'll be going to Divisoria and Recto to finish the party preps for TJ's 1st birthday party on sunday.
We left the house like around 2PM. Our first stop was at Lemon's house to borrow his cake and cupcake tower then we went straight to Recto to have the 2nd tarp printed. Unfortunately, the tarp wasn't printed because of the small resolution. Even for 2x3 size.. I was sad because I was really excited when we got there. So jinx because I don't have a load so I cannot text Juvi for the news. Not to mention I don't have cash also. haha! So the lady told me to have it resized then emailed it to them or bring it tomorrow..
I forgot that today is FRIDAY. I forgot about the traffic and since we are in Recto, of course there is TRAFFIC. And man, heavy traffic while the rain is pouring.. We arrived at 168 like 4PM. It was hard to find a slot for the parking.
Hubby said let's not go to Divimall because of the mud. So we just went straight to 168 mall. It's good that we only need few materials for the party. We bought manual balloon pump, 4 feet balloon burst, confettis at the party favor stall. Then we look for his shirt.. we just stayed there for 2 hours. Just roaming around. And oh, I bought crocs overrun for TJ and a winnie the pooh puzzle mat. :)
After our Divi trip, we went to Iko's Bakeshop located in Pasig. Still, traffic is alive and well! The place was quite hard to find for a first-timer... we took the very long cut :D then finally, I saw the bakeshop :)
Good thing there's an alternate route going there from C5. We bought choco moist cake and ube for us to taste it. Hmmmmnn.. Yummy! I will really recommend Iko's bakeshop! Very affordable and their products tastes good.
